The Critterman has safely performed over 1,500 Reptile & Bird Shows in Florida Since 2000. The Critterman has over 25 years of animal knowledge and experience. Other family members and handlers that may assist the Critterman during his shows have adequate experience with Reptiles and Birds. Most of our reptiles and birds are family pets and docile, and all are frequently cleaned as needed and before each show. The Critterman and his family handle the critters often, so the practice of proper hand washing is a must. The Critterman educates the children at his shows and every person who handles the animals must use the provided hand sanitizer. Children under 3 years of age cannot interact with the animals, however there is a fun and educational "no contact" show for them. The Critterman also requests that everyone wash their hands with soap and water for additional protection and as recomended by the CDC.. The Critterman is licensed, been criminal back ground checked and carries adequate liability insurance for all his reptile & bird shows. A copy of his insurance and credentials are available upon requests. It is important that anyone you hire has these credentials and liability insurance to prevent you or your business from expensive lawsuits. Although the Critterman refuses to use dangerous animals in his educational shows, there are minimal risks of handling wild and exotic animals. During his animal shows no one handles certain animals such as the; parrots, spiders, or comes in contact near the head area of the large snakes. There must be adult supervision at all events and additional professional animal handlers are provided for larger events or as needed. Interactive shows do have a maximum limit of persons per show for the safety of the animals and there are no exceptions, addtional shows are discounted to make affordable.
